What's New in 2026?
The 2026 season brings significant changes designed to discover grassroots racing talent across India. For the first time, the Cup features two separate grids: one for 20 Amateur riders and another for 15 Professional racers. This means more opportunities, fairer competition, and recognition for riders at every skill level.
The headline innovation? The debut of the Continental GT-R750 Race Prototype. Building on the proven GT-R650, this new platform delivers increased power and performance, available exclusively to professional riders. Amateur riders will compete on the race-ready GT-R650.

Two Categories
Amateur Grid (20 riders):
For passionate riders aged 18+ looking to prove their mettle. This is your platform to transition from street to track racing. Compete on the Continental GT-R650.
Professional Grid (15 riders):
Reserved for veterans of national championships and racing series. Pilot the new Continental GT-R750 Race Prototype and compete at the highest level.

For Professional riders. Built on a new, more powerful platform. Demands absolute precision and skill. Enhanced braking, race-tuned suspension, and aerodynamic fairing deliver cutting-edge performance.
Track-Tested Equipment
Race Compound Tyres by JK Tyre: Engineered specifically for the GT Cup machines, these race-compound tires deliver superior grip and contact on the track.
Harris Performance Components: Bespoke parts including adjustable CNC-machined rearsets and aluminum clip-on handlebars for precision positioning.
Lightweight Stainless Steel Race Exhausts: Enhanced performance and visceral sound for competition.
How the Race Works
The 2026 season features 8 exciting races spread across 3 rounds. Each round is a 3-day weekend event. Professional and Amateur riders compete on separate grids with independent points, podiums, and championship tallies—ensuring fair recognition for both categories.

The Selection Process
The journey from street to podium has multiple stages:

Stage 2: Final Selection (June 18-21)
The best riders from all zones converge at Kari Motor Speedway. A 4-day intensive program includes track school, race craft training, and race simulation before the final selection races.
Stage 3: Race Season (August-November)
The top 20 Amateurs and 15 Professionals line up for three championship rounds with multiple races per round.
